Testimonials

“Moulsham High School has a long-standing relationship with the Directions Careers service. Students in Years 9-13 meet with Jane – our Directions Careers Adviser, to obtain expert advice on what options they might choose at GCSE, to look at what pathways they might choose Post-16 and what lies in wait beyond A Level.

For our students, these sessions have been invaluable in providing impartial advice and in enabling students to broaden their horizons and prepare for the world of work. Our careers information, advice and guidance programme is intent on improving pupils preparation for the world of work, enhancing their social mobility and increasing educational attainment and engagement The careers advice provided to our young people by Directions is an integral part of that programme, ensuring that students take on an increasing responsibility for honing and adapting their skills in response to the modern workplace.”

“I just wanted to write to thank you for speaking to my Year 11 son at Moulsham High School recently. He came home very enthusiastic (and it takes a lot to get him enthusiastic). You have helped him with ideas and options that he could choose. The careers action plan has also helped us as parents with useful websites that we can go on to assist him to find the most suitable option for him. He has only recently decided banking is the route he wants to take and now feels he has lots of options.”
