Essex County Council offers discretionary Post 16 transport assistance to students that are eligible and meet the criteria.
Some Further Education Colleges within Essex have their own travel schemes and parents and students are advised to contact their preferred college to see what assistance they offer, as well as applying to Essex County Council.
Every institution also holds a 16-19 Bursary Fund which in some circumstances can be used to assist with travel costs. To check eligibility please see further information on the 16-19 Bursary Fund page.
